honda spree repairs

Postby Anaspree » Wed Aug 09, 2017 11:00 am

Desperately searching for someone in the GR area to address an 86 Honda spree that is leaking a bit of gas. It works perfectly otherwise! I feel like I've called all the obvious places and no one will take it on based on a quick phone conversation. Ugh, I bought it for my daughter for her birthday because I had heard that they run forever and are easy to repair. She has only had it a few days and I'm afraid to let her ride it:( It was not leaking when we test drove it, went all the way to Detroit to pick it up! Help is very much appreciated!

You can bring your scooter to a repair shop near your place.

Hi, and welcome to the club.
Our resident spree expert, Max, works at Impact Powersports on Plainfield near Lowes. You could call him and see if they would take it in.

Several reasons for a gas leak - could be the petcock, poor hose connection/bad hose, or stuck float needle/bad float. When you hauled it home was it on it's side instead of remaining upright?
How many scoots is too many?
